2007 Minsk Olympics

The 5th annual Minsk Olympics and Party weekend was the biggest Minsk rally of all time as 200 dawned on the tranquil footthills of Ba Vi mountain.

Many thanks to all those who came and everybody that helped out, including the CAMA sound system, Djs Nick, Giles, Connla, Seb, Dan K and Paulo who played tunes thoughout the night, Loan and the bar team, the door crew, and the resort staff.

On Saturday afternoon, the Minsk football team were edged out 2-4 by the Van Hoa Rangers with the Gaffer helping them on the way with a delicate twist of reverse fate and La Tete offering an even more delicate penalty before Yebi and Rasta brought the boys back into it.

Saturday night's non-stop party caused a few challenges for the Sunday start on the Olympics course with the exit gate and ditch taking no prisoners.

Maeve and Linh shared the My Thoat Memorial for top female rider, Steve took home the Fat Sam Stunt Award for a face-first plant in the ditch, Buffalo Dan secured his first Piston Trophy and then in the Comrade Struggle Brian retained his trophy in record time, ably assisted by Huyen.
